Ron Mumbower, Ph.D., LMFT

One of the approaches that makes Blue Hen unique is our commitment to building emotionally healthy teams and cultures. Dr. Ron Mumbower has spent almost four decades doing just that. In addition to his work as founder of Summit Counseling in Jackson, Mississippi, Ron has worked with leaders in all types of organizations, including corporate, governmental, educational and non-profit, helping them balance the demands of career and family while protecting their own emotional health.

Ron has worked as an educator and mentor for mental health professionals across the U.S. and globally. In addition, driven by his passion to build emotionally healthy work cultures, he has partnered with numerous businesses and corporations to develop Employee Assistance Programs (E.A.P) designed to meet the mental health needs of employees and leaders at all levels. In his role as Director of Organizational Health at Blue Hen, Ron works with individuals and teams to help them navigate the challenges of workplace stress and conflict.
